Raven flew out of her cage as a strange cat opened it. The black she-cat yowled with joy, she would be free from the two-legs and baths. How she hated baths, the water stuck to her fur like glue, and made her fur itch like crazy! Raven ran outside, her heart thrumming in her ears, oh was she excited! Her pace slowed to a walk as the building went out of sight, she looked around her and saw a few other cats darting around the large, noisy city. Raven found half of what she thought was a hot dog and she sniffed it carefully. It smelled fine to her, so she ate it in one big gulp! Boy was it good! Better than mouse even! She walked around the streets, enjoying the wonderful scenery, even if the smell wasn't too good.

    Username:
    .::Raventail::.

    name:
    Raventail

    Age:
    28 moons

    Gender:
    Female

    Rank:
    Warrior

Personality{please make it longer that three sentences}:
Raventail is a very irritable and antisocial cat, only on occasion will she show appreciation for another cats company. She is very prudish in the way that she wants nothing to to with mates. Mostly because mates mean kits and kits means 6 moons of rotting away in a stuffy nursery with a band of ungrateful little twats. Irritability aside, she is a wonderful hunter and fighter, even though she is quite small, but she learns to use it to her advantage. She is a very loyal cat, after all that's what clans are for, right?

    History{same as personality}:
Raventail has no amazing back story, her parents weren't killed by foxes, she didn't have any siblings who grew up to be great or any siblings for that matter. Over all, she is just a normal clan cat. Nothing too exciting happened to her nor most likely ever will. Raventail does have a slight ambition to become leader one day, but she knows it would never happen, after all who would let a cat like her take charge of a whole clan?

    Crush:
    N/A

    Mate{Please don't be mates with your self}:
    N/A

    Kits:
    N/A

    Siblings:
    N/A

    Strengths:
Raventail is very swift, which helps her take advantage of large, slow cats.

    Weaknesses:
Raventail is very antisocial and never likes to take part in social activities.

Raven yawned, it seemed like hours since she escaped the living hell that is cat shows. She padded along the dirt path-'Hey where did the sidewalk go?!' She thought looking back, but seeing no sidewalk anywhere. Raven shrugged and moved on until a forest came to view! How exciting! The black she-cat walked into the forest, not knowing of the possible dangers that lurked there. She stopped dead in her tracks though, as the scent of a strange animal hit her nose like a rock. Raven looked around, her heart thrumming in her ears as she heard rapid, large foot steps and the howling of a dog. Her pelt streaked across the forest as the dog came into sights, it surely wasn't a friendly dog at all, what with all the snarling and barking. She yelped as she fell forward on her face, she tried to get up, but her foot had got under a root! Raven tried to yank her paw out, but it was too late! The dog was already upon her..

Raven yowled in pure terror as a drop of spit landed on her forehead. Surely she was to die. Right here, right now. It was funny, she had always imagined dying in her cozy little bed at home, next to a warm fire with her favorite toy beside her and a nice bowl of warm cream. Well, she imagined wrong, she was to die at the jaws of this monster, as helpless as a new born kit. Raven shrunk into the grass and the dog barked in her face, leaving splats of drool all over her nicely washed coat. She didn't want to die without giving up a fight, she had decided. So she swiped out and unsheathed paw across the dog's broad muzzle, which made it yelp in pain. With the dog fussing over it's wound, she had time to make a run for it. She quickly pulled out her paw from under the root and ran across the forest as fast as possible, but only stopped when she ran straight in another cat! "Uh.. You aren't a domestic cat are you?" Raven asked nervously, seeing as the brown tabby tom didn't have the familiar two-leg scent that she carried.

"No, I am a clan cat, not a kitty pet like you." Hawkheart said, eyeing the black she-cat before her suspiciously, wondering why she was in such a hurry. He circled the kitty pet, scenting three things above all, artificial pelt cleaner, fear and dog. "Why are you on WindClan territory?" He questioned eyeing her small frame.

"Oh! I was set free from a stupid two-leg thing! I ran around everywhere, then I came into this forest where I was attacked by this huge dog! But I escaped after giving hive some wounds to think about! I'm Raven, what's your name?" Raven said, excitement lacing her voice. She turned around to face the clan cat who was currently looking over her lithe body, an expression of confusion on his face. "Why do you look so confused?" She asked, practically bouncing from her little adventure.

"Hello Raven, I'm Hawkheart." He said with a touch of formality to his voice. He obviously wanted to impress such a pretty she-cat. Hawkheart met Raven face to face as she turned towards him. Why wouldn't he be surprised? "It's just that most kitty pets don't come from a dog chase as happy as you are." He said adding a soft chuckle. "Anyways, follow me I'll take you to camp." He turned and walked along the forest, that slowly became a windy moor.

Raven nodded happily as she bounded by Hawkheart's side. "I can't believe you're in a clan! That's soooo cool! Can I join?" She asked as the tall moor grass grazed at her paws. She looked around her, it was beautiful! Raven couldn't believe her eyes, it was amazing. She slowed a bit as the scent of cats flew into her nose, 'That must be the clan!' She thought to herself, how wonderful! She caught up with Hawkheart and felt as light as a feather, it was great to be free!

Hawkheart looked over to Raven and frowned a bit as she asked if she could join. Sure there was a chance Heatherstar would let her join, but she was a kittypet! She would have to prove herself first, then there was a possibility. "Maybe, if you follow the rules." He said as they neared the camp. Hawkheart slowed to a walk, his heart thrummed against his chest, how he hoped they would treat her kindly!

Raven followed after Hawkheart closely as the walked into camp, she could feel the cat's eyes burning into her pelt like hot coals. She lowered her head a bit and looked over the camp, she counted 17 cats including herself. They were all so diverse! Her pelt felt so plain compared to all the torties, tabbies, and piebalds! Raven stopped along with Hawkheart as a lilac colored she-cat came into view. Hawkheart dipped his head, so she followed, not sure why they were giving so much respect to such a simple she-cat. "Why have you brought a kitty pet into my camp, Hawkheart?" She asked loudly, gathering even more attention to the pair.

Hawkheart walked into camp with Raven, his head held high. He glared at all his staring clan mates and stopped in front of his leader. "This is Heatherstar, the leader.." He muttered to Raven as he dipped his head to Heatherstar. "I brought Raven into camp, because I found her on our territory after she scared a dog away from camp," He said, changing the story a bit so as to gain Heatherstar's approval. "She wishes to join if it's fin with you." He added, looking hopefully at his leader.

Raven followed along with Hawkheart's streching of the actual story and nodded to show he was telling the 'truth'. "I suppose she can join, but she needs a true warrior name. Also, Hawkheart, if Raven is to join, you will be responsible for her until she gets the hang of things." Heatherstar said, looking over to Raven. "Thank you, Heatherstar." Raven said lifting her head, feeling very pleased. "The naming ceremony shall be held at sun high!" Heatherstar yowled after padding into her den. "What are the rules?" Raven asked Hawkheart, as she followed him to a shady spot under a tree.

"Well, no eating prey until you have fed your clan, leader's word is law, no befriending cats from other clans and no tresspassing into other clan's territories." Hawkheart said, only telling her the basics, she would learn the rest later. "Also, you see that hollow log over there? That's the warrior's den, where we sleep. That little cave made up of mossy rocks is the nursery, where the queens stay. The little hollow in the large rock is the leader's den, and the rock on top of it is the highrock, where meetings are held. The tree with a hole in the base is the apprentices den. The huge pile of prey over there is the prey pile. The little bushy cave is the medicine cat den, where Dawnflower treats sick cats and the hole in the ground over there is the elder's den, where the old cats stay." He said, gesturing to each spot as he announced it.

Raven nodded as she took in all of the information at once. She gazed at all the cats and wondered what there names were, so she asked Hawkheart. She hoped he could name all of them in time for her naming ceremony! Boy was there a lot of cats here! "Hawkheart, can you tell me who all of the cats are?" Raven asked, glancing across the clearing in wonder.

"Of course I can!" Hawkheart said, happy Raven could be in the clan with him. "The grey she-cat over there is Dawnflower, she's the medicine cat. The big dark brown tom over there is Mudpelt, he's a warrior. The blueish she-cat over there is Rainpaw, she's an apprentice. The white tom Rainpaw is with is Stormpaw an apprentice as well. You know Heatherstar of course. There is Mousepaw the dusty brown tom over by the prey pile, another apprentice. Mottlenose is the tortoise shell she -cat by the elders den, she is of course and elder. There is Tallpatch, the black and white elder tom next to Mottlenose. The blue point she-cat is Littlefoot she's a warrior. There is Streamtail, the silver tabby warrior. Blackear, the white tom warrior with black ears. Dappleleaf, the calico tom warrior. Moonclaw, the light grey tom, he's deputy, second in command. Wolfnettle, the tan tom, he's a warrior. And Snaggletooth, the reddish tom with the teeth that jut out from under his jaw." He finished, hoping Raven had gor it all.

Raven nodded as she took in all of the information that Hawkheart had been feeding her. "Is that Littlefoot?" She asked quietly as a small light colored warrior approached them. "Yes, she's very kind, so don't worry." Hawkheart replied, sounding confident. "Hello, I'm Littlefoot, you are Raven, yes?" Littlefoot asked, her voice soft and sweet, like honey. "Hello, Littlefoot, yes I am Raven." Raven replied happily. Hopefully the other cats would be as nice as Littlefoot. Then again Mudpelt didn't look too friendly to say the least.

"Raven here chased a dog out of the territory!" Hawkheart said to Littlefoot, hoping it would help Raven gain a bit more popularity with the cats. "Oh really? How amazing!" Littlefoot said, gazing at Raven in wonder. "Yes, I think she will make a wonderful warrior." He added, glancing over at Raven proudly. "I do hope I can be a good warrior." Raven said, sounding a bit embarrassed with Hawkheart's boasting.

Raven lifted her head as Heatherstar's yowl rang throughout the camp. "All cats old enough to run across the moor gather for a clan meeting!" Heatherstar yowled from atop the highrock. All of the clan cats migrated under and around the highrock as they heard her call. Raven followed Hawkheart as he walked over, they sat away from the other clan cats. She could feel excitement rushing through her like a river, she felt like she might explode! Heatherstar gestured for Raven to come beside her on the highrock, and she leapt up, feeling all of the cat's eyes burn into her pelt. "I, Heatherstar, leader of WindClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this kittypet. She has proven herself worthy of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn." Heatherstar said, referring to her chasing off the dog. "Raven, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" Heatherstar asked, looking upon Raven with a questioning look on her face. "I do." Raven replied nervously, looking down at all the cats staring at her. "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Raven, from this moment you will be known as Ravenwing. StarClan honors your bravery, and we welcome you as a full warrior of WindClan." Heatherstar announced, leaving Ravenwing feel so proud of herself. She held her head high as a few of the cats yowled out her new name.

"Ravenwing, Ravenwing!" Hawkheart yowled, practically beaming with pride. He walked up to Ravenwing along with a few others to congratulate her. "You will do well, Ravenwing." Littlefoot said cheerily. "Thank you for protecting our clan, Ravenwing." Said a cat who she believed to be Wolfnettle. "I give you my gratitude for chasing that dog away, Ravenwing." Snaggletooth said, his voice a bit of a slur. "I'm very proud of you Ravenwing!" Hawkheart said as the other cats cleared away to get something to eat. "Let's celebrate over a nice meal." He said, walking over to the fresh-kill pile.
